What you're agreeing to

By using HobbyCat (the 'Service'), you agree to these terms. HobbyCat is operated by its creator ('we', 'us'). If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use HobbyCat.
• One person, one account. No shared accounts.

What you can do

HobbyCat is designed for personal use — tracking your hobbies and watching your companion cats grow. Use it for that.

What you can't do

• Use HobbyCat for spam, harassment, or anything illegal.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service.
• Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the service.

Free and paid plans

• Free plan: up to 3 active hobbies, full session logging, companion cat.
• Pro plan: unlimited hobbies, full history, advanced stats, billed yearly via Stripe.
• Founding members: $14.99/year locked in forever for early supporters.

Prices may change for new subscribers, but founding member pricing is locked at the rate you signed up for.

Payments and refunds

• Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you're unhappy, email us and we'll sort it out.

Your data

• Your data belongs to you. We don't sell it, mine it, or use it to train AI models.
• You can export or delete your data at any time.
• If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee 100% availability. HobbyCat is a small, independently run product. Occasional downtime for maintenance may happen.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Liability

HobbyCat is provided 'as is'. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we're not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
