Meet your hobby companion
The problem
Habit trackers weren't built for people like you.
You don't have one goal. You have six passions, a life that gets in the way, and zero tolerance for streak anxiety.
- Most apps punish you for missing a day. HobbyCat never does.
- Your hobbies aren't habits — they're part of who you are, even when you're not actively doing them.
- Active, sleeping, or just curious — every hobby has a home here.
How it works
Three states. Zero pressure.
Every hobby lives in one of three places — active, backlog, or 'interested in trying'. Move them freely, guilt-free, any time.
Active
Scheduled, tracked, earning toy rewards for your cat.
Backlog
Sleeping until you're ready. Your cat naps. No judgement.
Interested in trying
Saved ideas waiting to become the next thing you love.
The cat system
Your hobby history, made adorable.
Every hobby has its own cat companion. Log sessions and watch them earn toys. Your personal cat — Mochi — grows with everything you do.
- Each hobby cat holds its tool: a crochet hook, a paintbrush, a guitar.
- Consistency milestones unlock thematic toys — a yarn ball, a tiny easel, running shoes.
- Mochi's mood reflects your overall engagement. Keep her happy without the pressure.
